Elementary Yearbook Club is an after school club for Laureles students in grades 4th and 5th.

Mission: Our primary mission is to produce and publish the school yearbook. We meet September - March after school from 3:05 to 3:55.

Because our club is producing an item that we sell to the public, students are asked to fill out a club application, obtain a recommendation from a LES teacher, and commit to participating and being in attendance for the full school year meeting schedule (See the calendar below for our full schedule). Club membership is limited to 12 students.

Staff members of the Elementary Yearbook Club work on projects throughout the year that involve activities of a journalistic nature. Most of our projects occur during the school day, so students must be on top of their classroom work responsibilities in order to complete their yearbook assignments.

Students do not need a digital camera to join, but photography practice and instruction is a big part of the Elementary Yearbook Club, and most students prefer to have their own camera.
